Snow to batter Kazakhstan on December 18

Kazhydromet issued a weather forecast for Kazakhstan on December 18, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The greater part of Kazakhstan will stay under the impact of the northern anticyclone, which will bring rain and snow to the western, southern, and southeastern parts of the country. The snow is expected in the north, northwest, and center of the country.

The southeastern and eastern parts of the country will enjoy weather with no precipitation.

The country is also forecast to observe wind strengthening, fog, and black ice.

Night temperatures are expected to decrease to 25-27°C in the north, center, in the mountainous areas of Zhetysu region.
