Snowfall forecast in Kazakhstan’s north Sep 24
On Tuesday, September 24, most parts of Kazakhstan will experience unstable, rainy weather, with snow anticipated to hit northern areas. Rain and snow mixed is forecast in mountainous areas of the country's southeast, Kazinform News Agency reports.
According to Kazhydromet, southern, northwestern and central regions will see no precipitation due to the anticyclone.
Strong wind is forecast across the country. Foggy conditions are predicted for northern, northwestern, central regions as well as mountainous areas of the southeast at night and in the morning.
Fire hazard is reported to be high in Aktobe, Karaganda regions, in the east of Ulytau region, west of Zhetysu region, north and northeast of West Kazakhstan region, southwest and southeast of Zhambyl region, west, south and center of East Kazakhstan region, south of Kostanay region, as well as east and center of Abai region.
Extremely high fire risk persists in Mangystau, Atyrau, Turkistan, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, West Kazakhstan, Ulytau regions, south of Abai region, north and center of Zhetysu region, west and east of Karaganda region, as well as west, south and center of Aktobe region.
