Snowfall forecast in most parts of Kazakhstan Dec 18

With the passage of atmospheric fronts, most areas of Kazakhstan will see snowfall on Monday, December 18, Kazinform News Agency reports via Kazhydromet.

Heavy snowfall will hit northwestern parts, while southwestern and southern regions will be battered by snow and rain.

Only northeastern, eastern, and southeastern parts will enjoy no precipitation today.

Snowstorm, black ice and gusting wind are forecast across the country.

Fog will blanket western, southwestern and southeastern regions.
