Snowstorm, fog expected in most parts of Kazakhstan on Thursday

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Snowstorm, fog, ice slick, strong winds are expected in most parts of Kazakhstan on Thursday, according to Kazhydromet.

Fog will blanket Almaty region. Strong winds up to 15-20 mps with gusts of 25 mps will blow in Zhalanashkol area. Strong wind of 15-20 mps, snowstorm will rule the day in Pavlodar, Akmola, Karaganda, Zhambyl and South Kazakhstan regions. Foggy weather will persist in Kyzylorda, Mangystau, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan and Aktobe regions of the country. Wind will strengthen to 18 mps in Kostanay region. Strong wind of 15-20 mps, snowstorm are expected in North-Kazakhstan region. Ice slick, wind up to 17-22 mps, snowstorm will rule the day in East Kazakhstan region.
