Sochi 2014: Kazakh athletes competed in three sport events Feb 9
ASTANA. KAZINFORM On Sunday, February 9, Kazakhstan's athletes competed in three sports events at the XXII Olympic Games in Sochi.

Kazakh skiers Igor Zakurdayev, Dmitry Koshkin and Martin Huber participated in men's downhill races. Zakurdayev showed his best securing the 33rd place, Sports.kz reports. Alexey Poltoranin finished 16th in skiatlon. His teammates Velichko, Cherepanov, Starostin came 32nd, 49th and 56th correspondingly. Silver medalist of the Vancouver Olympic Games Yelena Khrustalyova crossed the line in 23 minutes 29.6 seconds securing 57th place. Her teammate Daryia Usanova took 58th place scoring 23 minutes 55 seconds. Galina Vishnevskaya came 64th, Marina Lebedeva finished 73rd.
