Social expenditures not to be cut in 2009: Minister of Labor

AKTOBE. February 20. KAZINFORM /Samal Yendibayeva/ Minister of Labor Berdibek Saparbayev has visited more than 10 enterprises of Aktobe oblast in the course of his working trip. ?The most important thing at present is to preserve working places and fulfillment of obligations by employers?, he said at the meeting with the workers of Aktobe chromium compounds plant.

The Minister also pointed out positive work of the local executive bodies on stabilization of food prices in the oblast. After then, he informed the Aktobe oblast citizens of the Government?s measures on stabilization of the current situation and mitigation of the consequences of the crisis. ?In spite of reduction of budgetary programs, social expenditures will not be cut in 2009?, B.
