Socially important public services to be transferred into e-format in 2013

"60% of socially important services were already transferred into electronic format in 2012. This indicator is planned to be increased to 100% in 2013," Deputy CEO of "National Information Technologies" JSC Aleksey Anisimov said.
Besides, according to the developers, taking into consideration the growing demand on mobile gadgets, users of e-Gov will be provided with an access to the services of the portal via iOS and Android applications, primeminister.kz site informed.
According to the Deputy CEO of the company, the list of permits issued in electronic format is planned to be expanded to 353 in 2013. In 2014, all permits will be available on the portal in electronic format, A.Anisimov told.
Totally, 67 public services and 16 services are rendered online of the e-government portal upon the results of the first half of this year. Besides, it is possible to pay 21 kinds of government charges, 16 kinds of state duties, 4 kinds of taxes as well as fines for violation of traffic regulations and 3 kinds of utility bills on the portal. 3 489 364 electronic certificates were issued by means of the portal over the reporting period. The number of unique users made 4 410 558 people. Over 20 thousand people visit e-Gov portal daily.
Presently, the national E-licensing database has been introduced in all the central and local executive bodies. This provides with an opportunity to receive any license in electronic format.
It is worth noting that the ICT share in the GDP including the information and communication infrastructure made 3.02% in 2011.
The international community highly appraised the level of development of the electronic government of Kazakhstan in 2012.
