Society should realize the importance of presidential elections - MP

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's society should realize the importance of the upcoming presidential elections, believes deputy of Majilis (lower chamber of the Kazakh Parliament) Kuanysh Sultanov.

"Status of the presidential elections is very high. Our society should realize the importance of this event. Each member of the society has the right to express his or her will through elections," majilisman Sultanov said at the 2nd Astana Polytologists Forum. According to him, the early elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan are timely. "The elections coincide with the implementation of two important programs - Kazakshtan-2050 Strategy and Nurly zhol - Path to the Future. These programs meet interests of our people," he added. The early presidential elections in Kazakhstan will be held on April 26.
