Solar powered pedestrian signs to be installed in Shymkent
SHYMKENT. KAZINFORM - KZT 28 million have been allocated for installation of new pedestrian signs in Shymkent, "Alem Trans Zhol" company reported.
According to the press service of the city administration, the new signs are solar-powered. 90 LED signs were installed on 38 streets of the city. The signs, manufactured in Russia, are considered to be long-lasting light sources. They can run smoothly around the clock. By 2015 the company plans to install solar powered road signs on all streets of Shymkent.
