Some 900 families get new apartments in Karaganda region in 2023
Some 900 families from socially protected categories got their new apartments in Karaganda region this year, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The region is observing the robust pace of construction with new housing being built not only in the regional center, but also in single-industry cities and districts.
It should be mentioned that about 400,000 square meters of housing have been commissioned in Karaganda region this year, mainly in Karaganda, Shakhtinsk, Abai, Balkhash, and Karkaralinsk.
Karaganda region residents get new apartments through rental housing programs and special housing programs for young families, miners and steel workers.
