Some Kazakhstani AI startups valued at $100M, says PM Bektenov
This was said by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov of Kazakhstan during the opening of the Digital Almaty 2025 forum, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.

As Bektenov pointed out, Kazakhstan has recently established the Committee for Artificial Intelligence.
The relevant Concept was approved commencing the development of a National AI Strategy. The draft law on AI is in place, which aims at establishing a legal framework for innovation promotion. This document seeks to strike a balance between regulation and stimulation of AI development, said Bektenov.
Kazakhstan is founding the Artificial Intelligence Development Council under the President in a bid to bring together top domestic and international experts as well as promote integration of advanced technologies and experiences in this sphere.
The venture investment fund with a target volume of 1 billion US dollars runs at Astana Hub to promote promising AI startups, as the Hub has up to 1,500 members with total revenue exceeding 1 billion US dollars a year.
Among them are 150 AI startups, including Kazakhstani projects Higgsfield AI, Cerebra, CodiPlay, Arlan Biotech, Alaqan, with some of them are valued at 100 million US dollars, he added.
Kazakhstan’s startup Higgsfield AI presented a video made by AI with text prompts during the forum.
Premier Bektenov highlighted Kazakhstan is open for cooperation and ready to assist new startups in AI.
Earlier, Prime Minister Bektenov suggested the EAEU countries join hands to boost AI at the Alem.ai center.
