Some KZT 22 bln channeled for Ridder and Ekibastuz TPPs capital repairs
The Kazakh Government allocated 21.5 billion tenge for capital repairs, reconstruction and procurement of equipment for Ridder and Ekibastuz TPPs, Aktau energy sources, and a boiler house in Kokshetau for getting ready for the current heating season, Kazinform News Agency reports.
A thorough overhaul was completed at eight power-generating units, 40 boilers, and 42 turbines. Capital repairs will come to an end soon at two power-generating units, nine boilers, and 11 turbines. 25,300 km of power lines, 564 electrical substations, and 3,500 distribution points were also repaired, Kazakh Energy Minister Almasadam Satkaliyev told the Government sitting.
Besides, 3.7 billion tenge was allotted from the regional budget for the repair works of Kentau TPP.
