Speaker of Consultative Assembly of Saudi Arabia awarded 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence medal

ASTANA. December 23. KAZINFORM Charge d'Affaires of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumabekov met with Speaker of the Consultative Assembly of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdullah Al ash-Sheikh and awarded him on behalf of President Nursultan Nazarbayev the jubilee medal "The 20th anniversary of independence of Kazakhstan", the Kazakh MFA's press service said.

The Kazakh diplomat highly appreciated the Speaker's contribution to the development and strengthening of bilateral ties, expansion of relations between the two parliaments. He also briefed on the country's achievements.

In his turn, Speaker of the Consultative Assembly of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdullah Al ash-Sheikh congratulated the people of Kazakhstan on the 20th anniversary of the country's independence highly assessing the political and socioeconomic reforms carried out for the past 20 years.
