Speaker of Polish Senate to visit Kazakhstan in 2015
At the meeting, the sides agreed to organize the official visit of Bogdan Borusewicz, the Speaker of the Polish Senate, to Kazakhstan this year. The Kazakh Senate Speaker briefed Ambassador Kluczkowski on the pre-election situation in Kazakhstan, implementation of the Nurly zhol program and forthcoming celebration of the Year of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan. During the discussions, utmost attention was paid to five institutional reforms put forward by President Nursultan Nazarbayev at the Congress of the Nur Otan Party earlier this year. Speaker Tokayev also shared his thoughts on the regional situation and told the Polish diplomat about the work of the Eurasian Economic Union (EUU) and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). Ambassador Kluczkowski highly estimated the work of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan that, in his opinion, had become an important instrument in strengthening the unity of multinational Kazakhstan.
