Spearhead Group submits signature sheets

UST-KAMENOGORSK. January 11. KAZINFORM. /Lyudmila Malko/ Today the initiative group on referendum to extend the terms of the First President of Kazakhstan until 2020 submits all the signature sheets to the Central Electoral Commission to have them registered.

Later the Spearhead Groups is scheduled to hold a briefing to make public the final results in support of its initiative, Yerlan Sydykov told at briefing in Ust-Kamenogorsk. As for January 10 the number of signatures in support of a referendum to extend the First President's powers hit 4 mln 292 thousand. All the signatures will be checked by the Central Electoral Commission, he underlined. We seek to gather more signatures to persuade the President of the necessity to bring people's initiative in life.
