Stability in Kazakhstan based on stable economic growth and tolerance - N. Nazarbayev

ASTANA. December 1. KAZINFORM /Maria Peshkova/ "Today's summit is held in a newly independent country which became independent in many ways according to the principles included in the Final Act. We are building democracy in the region of the world that has never before known the democracy", Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said it making a welcome speech at the plenary session of the OSCE Summit in Astana.

"Stability in Kazakhstan is primarily based on the stability of our economic growth on the foundation of tolerance, peace and harmony between 40 ethnic groups and 46 religions. We established a unique institution which is called the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan trying to combine the western values and eastern tradition", N. Nazarbayev stressed.
