State and prospects of development of bilateral coop discussed in Berlin

The sides discussed the state and prospects for development of the bilateral economic relations and the process of implementation of agreements, achieved during the session of the Kazakh-German Intergovernmental working group on trade-economic cooperation, the Kazakh part of which is headed by B.Sultanov.
R.Bruderle noted that the German Government places stake in cooperation with Kazakhstan on such sectors as energy, metalworking production, construction materials, textile industry, logistics, trade and petro chemistry. Germany supports the Kazakh initiatives on modernization and diversification of economy sectors of Kazakhstan and intends to take active part in their realization.
The Ministers also discussed the prospects of the Customs Union of Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia for Kazakhstan's entry to the WTO and the Kazakh-German cooperation.
The German side complimented the success of the Year of Kazakhstan in Germany and expressed hope on the same high level of conduction of the Year of Germany in Kazakhstan next year.
