State awards need to be seen as people’s gratitude – Tokayev

Speaking at the ceremony of presenting the state awards and prizes, Kazakh Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stated that workers of the atomic sector make true heroic deeds despite dangers, Kazinform News Agency cites Akorda. 

The State attaches great attention to the development of domestic science and great importance to recognize the merits and achievements of our scholars. This year, the Al-Farabi state science and technology prize is given to the team of scholars of the National Nuclear Center of Kazakhstan. The center conducted unique research and made developments advanced by world standards in the atomic energy sector. Saving people’s lives despite any dangers is a true deed, said Tokayev at the ceremony of presenting the state awards and prizes at Akorda.

The Kazakh President pointed out that in general, residents of all regions, specialists of all sectors make their contribution to the development of the country.

The state awards need to be seen as the gratitude of the people, said the Kazah Head of State.
