State Commission on Economy Modernization held its 26th session in Astana

ASTANA. January 27. KAZINFORM State Commission on Modernization of Economy of RK has held its 26th session in the Ukimet Uyi (House of Government) today. Prime Minister Karim Massimov has chaired it, Kazinform reports.

The Commission considered a list of second-tier banks and financial organizations ? participants of the program on financing small and medium business enterprises and limits on them. Chairman of ?SamrukKazyna? National Welfare Fund Kairat Kelimbetov presented the list of second-tier banks and financial organizations selected in accordance with certain criteria and special methodology of estimation of their work. As is known, the Joint Actions Plan of the Government, National Bank and Financial Supervision Agency for 2009-2010 KZT bln envisages KZT 120 bln for financing small and medium business through the second-tier banks on a revolving basis. Following discussion the State Commission approved the list of the banks and financial organizations participating in financing small and medium businesses.
