State Counselor Erlan Karin holds meeting with W Kazakhstan's social activists

State Counselor Erlan Karin together with the National Kurultay members held a number of working meetings in the West Kazakhstan region, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The meetings with the representatives of the local public councils discussed implementation of the President’s Address to the Nation “Just Kazakhstan: Law and Order, Economic Growth, Public Optimism” in the country and in the region.

The meetings with the region’s intellectuals – scholars, workers of culture and art, writers and public activists – focused on the nationwide projects of the National Kurultay in education, science and culture.

A meeting with school principals discussed “Birtutas Tarbie” (Comprehensive Upbringing) program of children’s upbringing the implementation of which began in the current academic year.

Erlan Karin visited the regional methodological center of psychological support opened in July as part of implementation of the 2023-2025 Comprehensive Plan of Children’s Protection from Abuse, Suicide Prevention, Ensuring Children’s Rights and Wellbeing.

Attorney Aiman Umarova and lawyer Ainur Sabitova visited the local Crisis Center for Domestic Violence Victims.

The State Counselor also had a meeting with the region’s Governor Nariman Turegaliyev, mayors of cities and districts, and heads of government agencies. The participants discussed the preliminary results of implementation of the presidential initiatives on such important areas of ideological work as strengthening public consolidation, development of civil society institutions, youth support, coordination of onomastic and expert-analytical activity.

Such meetings held in the regions are called to contribute to further strengthening of the dialogue with the public and generation of new ideas and initiatives as part of the National Kurultay’s activity.
