State Counselor Karin sets tasks on cooperation with OECD
A meeting of the Commission on the Fight against Corruption under the chairmanship of Kazakh State Counselor Erlan Karin took place, Akorda reports.
The meeting discussed the implementation of the OECD’s 5th monitoring round of the Istanbul Anti-Corruption Action Plan.
During the event, the measures adopted to better the national anti-corruption legislation and law enforcement practice through the international standards were reported.
State Counselor Karin highlighted that the Head of State attaches great attention to the cooperation with the OECD, whose high standards encompass the different spheres of economy as well as the fight against corruption.
In conclusion, Karin gave a number of instructions regarding the realization of the recommendations from foreign experts as well as further cooperation with the OECD.
