States with high margin of safety will be leading in XXI Cent.- Kazakh President

ASTANA. September 10. KAZINFORM - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, speaking at the Eurasia Emerging Markets Forum, voiced criteria that will bring the country to top leading countries in the middle of the XXI century.

"In 2050, the configuration of the top 30 most developed countries may be very different than we currently think. In this decade, the world has gone through a complex stage of development. In these circumstances, leadership will be only for those states that have a high margin of safety", said the Head of state.

According to him, among a wide range of criteria the most important will be "strength of sub-national unity, people's solidarity and pragmatism of economic and social policy, correctness of the foreign policy course".
