Storm alert issued for most of Kazakhstan

 Storm alert was issued for 14 regions of Kazakhstan, Kazinform News Agency cites the National Met Office Kazhydromet. 

According to Kazhydromet, Aktobe, North Kazakhstan, and Ulytau regions are to expect ice slick.

Zhetysu region’s Alakolskiye ozera area is to see 15-20mps southeasterly wind, reaching 23-28mps at times.

Fog is predicted in West Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda, Atyrau, Mangistau, Akmola, Pavlodar, East Kazakhstan, and Abai regions.

The west and north of Kostanay region are to brace for black ice and fog.

Heavy rain is to batter the mountainous areas of Turkestan region later in the day on November 29.
