Strong quake jolts S Philippines
COTABATO, Philippines. August 13. KAZINFORM. A magnitude-5.6 quake struck at the ocean near southern Philippines early Thursday, the United States Geological Survey reported; Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
The quake, measuring at a depth of 95 kilometers, was recorded at 4:00 a.m. with the epicenter 81 miles east of General Santos City.
