ASTANA. July 5. KAZINFORM - The Minister of Education and Science Bakhytzhan Zhumagulov has met today with the national team of students who are going to Copenhagen (Denmark) to participate in the 44th International Physics Olympiad. Meeting of the Minister and the young physicists was held in the nuclear center at the Eurasian National University named after Gumilyov.

"Physics is one of the most difficult sciences, but probably the most interesting. And we are convinced of this today, having familiarized with the work of the nuclear center at the university. I studied physics only being a freshman, but now I am improving it. I am a mathematician. And in our time a mathematician should have a thorough knowledge of physics, physical processes and chemistry ", said the minister talking to the students.

The head of the education institution wished the young 'Olympians' success and noted that the country put much hope on them.

The International Physics Olympiad will be held from 7 to 15 July. Members of the current Olympic Games are winners of other scientific competitions. Our schoolchildren will be accompanied by their supervisors.
