Students offer to produce iodized bread - «Atameken startup» competition

TARAZ. November 18. KAZINFORM - Taraz has held a contest of business ideas among young people organized by "Atameken startup" fund.

For three days one hundred students of universities and colleges united in 56 teams defended their business projects and innovative ideas.

According to the chairman of the regional council of businessmen of the Zhambyl region Mukash Iskandirov the winners have become the projects presented by "Zhasbiotehnologiya'', ''KZ.Element'', ''Innovator'' and "Batyr nan". Prizes provided cash prizes of $ 300, 200 and 100 thousand tenge.

"Batyr nan" team which took the third place has proposed a draft of iodinzed bread. Second place went to ''KZ.Element'' which aim at strengthening the consciousness of the younger generation via intelligent puzzles. The first place was taken by "Zhasbiotehnologiya" team which presented a project for the production of goat milk on the basis of bifidobacteria.

During the competition there was also presented the project of hippotherapy, involving Lugovskoy horse farm to help hundreds of children suffering from cerebral palsy, and the idea of using ​​zero waste tires, production of Taraz cut glass on the basis of crystal glass factory.

Attention of the jury and participants was attracted by such proposals as freezing of local corn, making sweets from talkan and output of low-cost greenhouses.
