Styria, E Kazakhstan pledge to boost cooperation

UST KAMENOGORSK. KAZINFORM East Kazakhstan governor Berdybek Saparbayev paid a visit to Styria, Austria. The trip was organized by the Kazakh Embassy in Austria and Honorary Consul Dr Nebel, the governor's press service said.

As part of his trip Saparbayev met with member of the provincial government of Styria Christian Buchmann to share views on socioeconomic development of East Kazakhstan and Styria, prospects for inter-regional cooperation based on similarity of economic structures (machine building, metallurgy, tourism, alternative energy sources, ecology, culture, healthcare and agriculture).

At the meeting with authorities of Styria Economic Chamber, Business Internationalization Centre and Union of Industrialists the Kazakh governor expressed interest in extensive capital-raising and implementation of Styria high technologies into the region's economy. The parties agreed on mutual exchange of delegations to tune up cooperation in certain economic sectors.

Besides, Saparbayev visited Andritz Energy& Environment Company, a globally leading supplier of complete power generation and environmental technology plants and systems.
