Subsistence minimum level increased by 0.9% in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. January 3. KAZINFORM The level of the cost of living increased by 0.9% and made 16698 tenge in Kazakhstan in December 2012 compared to the corresponding period of 2011, the press service of the Statistics Agency reported.

The average level of subsistence minimum per capita calculated on the basis of the minimum consumption norms of the basic foods increased by 0.9% in December 2012 compared to December 2011, the press service of the Agency informed.

In accordance with the Agency, the expenditures for consumption of meat and fish made 23.8%, dairy and fat-and-oil products and eggs - 16.4%, fruits and vegetables - 9.9%, bread and grits - 7,8%, sugar, tea and spices - 2.1%.
