Subsistence minimum made 19,351 tenge in Aug 2013 – Kazakh Statistics Agency
ASTANA. September 2. KAZINFORM - The average subsistence minimum per capita, calculated on the basis of minimum standards of consumption of basic foodstuffs, increased by 5.9% in August 2013 compared with the previous month, by 7.3% as compared to August 2012, and amounted to 19 351 thousand tenge, the press service of the Kazakh Statistics Agency said, according to primeminister.kz.

Thus, according to the agency, the structure of the subsistence minimum includes meat and fish - 20.8% , fruit and vegetables - 16.4%, dairy, oil and fat products and eggs - 14%, bread and cereal products - 6.9% , sugar, tea and spices - 1.9%.
