Suicide bombing rocks W Afghanistan
HEART. November 3. KAZINFORM Casualties feared as a suicide bombing, following gunshots, rocked Herat city, the provincial capital of western Afghanistan's Herat province on Thursday morning, police said; Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
"Base in initial reports a group of suicide bombers stormed a private logistic company in southern part of Herat city at around 10:00 a.m. local time Thursday," a police officer in the province who declined to be named told Xinhua.
Firstly, a suicide bomber blew his explosive up near the entry gate of the building of the company which provides logistic support for NATO-led forces in the province, the sources said, adding that a gunshot between an unknown armed men and security guards of the company was followed the blast.
There might be casualties, the sources said, adding that details will be released to media after investigation.
