Surgeons from Saudi Arabia to perform over 70 heart surgeries in Kyrgyzstanis over one week

Surgeons from Saudi Arabia will perform more than 70 heart surgeries on Kyrgyzstanis over the one week, KABAR reports.

According to the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, 30 surgeons arrived in Bishkek through the Center for Humanitarian Aid and Rescue named after King Salman, who, from November 10 to 17, together with Kyrgyz specialists, will perform 20 open heart surgeries at the Research Institute of Heart Surgery and Organ Transplantation, and more than 50 stenting operations will be performed at the National Center of Cardiology and Therapy named after Mirrakhimov.

The specialists brought with them the necessary medical equipment and stents.

On November 11, Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Alymkadyr Beishenaliev met with them. He expressed deep gratitude to surgeons for their valuable contribution to reducing mortality from cardiovascular diseases in Kyrgyzstan.

Beishenaliev emphasized that the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic will provide all necessary support for the successful implementation of this charity event.
