Sweden is the second trade partner of Kazakhstan among the Nordic countries

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Republic of Kazakhstan Manne Vengborga has met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexey Volkov on the occasion of his diplomatic mission completion in Kazakhstan, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports.

A.Volkov presented the Ambassador of Sweden a Diploma of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev for the active and fruitful work in the development of Kazakh-Swedish cooperation. Diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Sweden were established in 1992. Manne Vengborga arrived in Kazakhstan in 2010 as the first Ambassador of Sweden to Kazakhstan. This event opened a new page in bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Sweden. At present, one can mention the acceleration of the development of relations in the field of telecommunications, healthcare, "green" technology, environmental protection, as well as establishing direct contacts of private sectors of both states.
