Swiss President congratulates Kazakhstan on Independence Day

ASTANA. December 15. KAZINFORM President of Switzerland Micheline Calmy-Rey has sent a letter of congratulations to Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence.

"Let me emphasize once more how much I appreciate the very friendly character and the intensification of our relations over the last few years. The number of high-ranking meetings between representatives of our countries testifies the very positive development of our relations.

May the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Swiss Confederation continue to intensify in the future," the letter reads.
