Systematization of Single Economic Space's regulations to be accomplished in 2012: I.Shuvalov
MOSCOW. March 18. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ The work on development of a single document systematizing the regulations of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space will be started in April this year. First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Igor Shuvalov has made it public at the CIS International Economic Forum "20 Years Together: the Experience of Cooperation and Prospects" today.
According to him, the legal framework forming the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space includes 105 agreements. "Sometimes, the provisions of these documents overlap, that makes the use of these documents difficult. A task on beginning the codification and systematization of the legal framework was set at the session of the Interstate Council in Minsk. We plan to start this work in April this year," he said.
He noted that this work should be accomplished concurrently with execution of the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Community. "We believe, this work will be accomplished in 2012," I.Shuvalov said.
