Tajik President appoints his son head of anti-corruption agency
DUSHANBE. KAZINFORM - Tajik President Emomali Rahmon has changed heads of a number of ministries and agencies, and his eldest son Rustam Emomali was appointed Chairman of the Agency for Financial Control and Combating Corruption, sources in the President's Administration told CA-News.
Rustam Emomali has previously served as head of State Customs Service, AKI Press informs. Former head of the anti-corruption agency Abdufattoh Goyib was appointed head of the Customs Service. Former First Deputy Minister of Culture Mahmadsaid Pitov was appointed chairman of the Committee on Television and Radio, succeeding Asadullo Rahmon, who was appointed Assistant to the President. Earlier this position was held by Abdujabbor Azizi, who was elected as member of Parliament of the Republic from the People's Democratic Party. Ibodullo Mashrabov appointed as First Deputy Minister of Culture.
