Tajikistan and Iran to introduce visa-free regime
The Memorandum of Understanding between the Governments of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran on the abolition of visas for holders of general civil foreign passports will come into force on 10 August 2024, Kazinform News Agency cites the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On the basis of this Memorandum of Understanding holders of general civil foreign passports of both nations will have the right to travel without a visa for 90 days from the date of first entry for 30 days.
In the first phase, the implementation of the visa-free regime will be applied only to those using the Dushanbe-Tehran and Tehran-Dushanbe air routes.
