Tajikistan, China expand inter-parliamentary cooperation
Last week, Vice-Speaker of the Assembly of Representatives Mavsuma Muini met with Deputy Head of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the People’s Republic of China Chen Zhou and his accompanying delegation, Khovar reports.
The meeting focused on a wide range of issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation.
«We express satisfaction with the positive process of inter-parliamentary cooperation and the expansion of ties between the legislative bodies of the two states. Based on the creation of a friendship and cooperation group of the two parliaments, we hope that this group will play an important role in this direction,» Muini noted.
The parties also discussed the expansion of cooperative relations within the framework of organizations, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Earlier it was reported that Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan had begun preparing the documents to legalize their state border.
