Taldykorgan to name street in honor of slain police officer Yedl Adilzhan

TALDYKORGAN. KAZINFORM - Taldykorgan will name a street in honor of the slain district inspector of police Yedil Adilzhan.

Vesennaya Street of Taldykorgan will be renamed Yedil Adilzhan police officer Street. The information was announced during the event with the participation of representatives of law enforcement agencies. According to the press service of the regional IAD, Adilzhan with two his colleagues were keeping patrol in Belbulak village. The officers began to pursue an offender, who was trying to escape by car. The criminal was armed with a shotgun rifle from which he opened fire. Two policemen were injured. One day later Yedil Adilzhan, hospitalized with gunshot wounds, died. By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yedil Adilzhan was posthumously awarded Aibyn order of third degree.
