Taraz city supports early presidential elections

TARAZ. KAZINFORM - Public activists of Taraz city held a campaign to support the initiative of the council of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan to hold early presidential elections.

"Representatives of ethno-cultural associations of the region express their support to the idea of the council of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan to hold early presidential elections though mass media," rep of the Zhambyl branch of the People's Assembly Larissa Lysova said. She reminded that representatives of 87 nationalities currently reside in Zhambyl region. The Zhambyl branch of the People's Assembly founded back in 1995 gathered under its shanyrak (roof) 25 ethno-cultural associations. The campaign brought together members of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan, deputies of Zhambyl region administration, reps of women's council as well as youth of the region.
