Taraz regional conference on entrepreneurship state support to kick off

According to the press service of akim of Zhambyl region, the aim of a two-day event is encouraging entrepreneurship and innovation, and discussing mechanisms involving small and medium-sized businesses in implementation of major projects, explaining the instruments of state support of entrepreneurship.

The discussions will be attended by Zhambyl Mayor Kanat Bozumbayev, Vice-Minister of Regional Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin, chairman of the tourism industry committee Marat Yigal, as well as representatives of central and local executive bodies of Kazakhstan, national institutions supporting entrepreneurship, financial institutions and business entities.

Inter-regional conference will be conducted on three themes: "State support measures for entrepreneurship", "Development of public-private partnerships and innovation in the region " and "Tourism along the Silk Road: Potential and Prospects for Development".

At the forum there will be an exhibition of promising investment projects in Zhambyl area that require financial support. In addition, there is planned a presentation of the "map of free land " in Taraz.

The conference will also focus on the issue of human development needs of the region and partner programs. Today the large industrial enterprises of the region are as follows: "Kazphosphate", "Evrohim - Fertilizers", "Talas Investment Company", "Altynalmas", "Tas Mynaral Company" and they are in need of skilled workers.

According to the results of the event there will be a ceremony of signing memorandums and agreements for the purchase of goods, works and services by large companies in the region with small and medium-sized businesses in the affiliate program.

On the second day there are tours to tourist attractions of Zhambyl region.
