Tashkent celebrates Kazakhstan Independence Day

Heads and representatives of diplomatic missions, ministries and departments, business circles, foreign and local mass media, Kazakh Diaspora in Uzbekistan were invited to the event.
Kazakh Charge d'Affaires valikhan Turekhanov noted that over the independence period Kazakhstan develops in the Eurasian political space as a country with market economy, favorable investment climate, with the system of key institutions of democracy and civil society.
"Next year our country will chair the OSCE. It is great honor for us, and Kazakhstan is grateful for all OSCE member-states for their support", the diplomat said.
As V.Turekhanov noted, the country adopted the five-year plan of forced industrial and innovation development, which is named as 'a plan of the post-crisis breakthrough'.
"I want to congratulatre my Uzbek colleagues on the 17th anniversary of diplomatic relations establishment between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, great potential of our relations allows to improve strategic partnership", he said.
According to the diplomat, despite the global difficulties, the volume of trade-economic relations between Kazakh and Uzbekistan has a tendency of growth.
