Tashkent to host Uzbekistan – Italy Education Forum

A delegation of more than 20 leading university rectors, led by Italian Minister of Universities and Research Anna Maria Bernini, will visit Uzbekistan from September 23 to 27, UzA reports. 

According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan, a joint education forum will be held in Tashkent for the first time as part of the visit on September 24.

The event will be attended by more than 20 leading Italian universities, as well as 46 leading universities of Uzbekistan. It is planned to sign several cooperation agreements between the two countries’ universities.

The forum’s main agenda includes student and professor exchanges, teacher training, inter-university cooperation, support for research projects, and other important issues in this area.
