Task on transition to innovative development of special importance: Head of State

ASTANA. March 10. KAZINFORM ?The task on transition to innovative development is of special importance?, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said today at the session of the Eurasian Association of Universities.

The Head of the State considers it is necessary to think over the mechanism to encourage promotion of innovation in the CIS markets and other countries. ?We are ready to finance the participation of Kazakh scientists in research projects, implemented in Russia, Ukraine and other CIS member countries?, the President stressed. According to N.Nazarbayev it is necessary to develop interaction between scientists in the Eurasian Club of Scientists, the Center for High Technology, Eurasian Bank of new technologies, as well as other international organizations. It is important to define the most promising directions for joint research and projects, including space, nanotechnologies, energy and energy efficiency.
