Tazhin: Viewers and readers of state media insufficient for today's problem solving

ASTANA. February 22. KAZINFORM "The process of budget planning and budgeting information policy is needed to be reviewed," Secretary of State of Kazakhstan Marat Tazhin, said speaking at the meeting with information assets.

"Viewers and readers of state mass media are insufficient for solving today's tasks," Marat Tazhin said.

According to him, the current situation in the media space of Kazakhstan is "simply unacceptable." Leading state television should be an absolute leader in the rankings in a few years.

In addition, Tazhin noted that the Ministry of Culture and Information, Communication Service Center and Department of internal policy should analyze the assets allocated to the state-owned media and optimize their budgets.
