Temirtau hosts seminar dated to Kazakh khanate's anniversary

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A seminar for History teachers of secondary schools dated to the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh khanate was held in the town of Temirtau, Karaganda region.

The seminar was aimed at shedding light on the history of the Kazakh khanate, bringing up the future generations based on the example of historical figures who fought for independence of the Kazakh people. Video clip dedicated to the anniversary of the Kazakh khanate was screened at the event. Participants saw how Kazakhstan developed and rose to independence. Organizers of the seminar believe that such events promote respect among the younger generation to the history of Kazakhstan.
