The delegation from South Kazakhstan region visited Ukraine
During the visit, with the assistance of the Chamber of Commerce of Ukraine, took place a business forum with the participation of over 50 representatives of leading enterprises of Ukraine. Kazinform refers to Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan. At this Forum, the participants were informed in detail by the Kazakh side about the investment climate and export potential of Kazakhstan and economic opportunities for the joint business development in the South Kazakhstan region. The leaders of the Ukrainian enterprises conducted presentations of their companies. In particular, at the meeting were discussed the possibilities of establishing a joint Kazakh-Ukrainian enterprise, attracting new technologies (including the purchase of patents and equipment) and qualified specialists. Also, for the participants meetings in the B2B format were organized. The same day, in the auditorium of the Expo Center «Stolichniy», took place a meeting with agricultural machine engineers of Ukraine, which was attended by leaders of 12 engineering enterprises and discussed the possibility of the equipment supply to Kazakhstan and joint production on the territory of the South Kazakhstan region. The delegation of SKR visited a number of enterprises in Kiev and Zhytomyr regions. As a result, at the second joint meeting of the Diplomatic Business Club were signed Memoranda on cooperation between Akimat of the South Kazakhstan region and the city administration of Zhytomyr, between Akimat of South Kazakhstan region and the League of Ukrainian machine-builders, as well signed the Roadmap on a joint machine-building on production of attached implements for tractor plant on the territory of the South Kazakhstan region. During the signing ceremony, the Ambassador Z. Turisbekov stressed that the President Nursultan Nazarbayev pays great attention to the industrial-innovative development of Kazakhstan and creation of favorable conditions for business. Large preferences are granted to foreign investors. «The visit of the delegation of entrepreneurs of South-Kazakhstan region to Ukraine is a clear confirmation of the readiness and willingness of business Kazakhstan and Ukraine productively cooperate in the sphere of economy, this practical embodiment of our intentions to develop and strengthen the Kazakh-Ukrainian economic relations», - underlined the Ambassador. The signing ceremony was also attended by deputies of Ukraine, heads of government agencies and businesses, as well as members of the International Trade Club. Earlier in the framework of the Program for Regional Cooperation of Kazakhstan and Ukraine, Kyiv was visited by delegation of North Kazakhstan region to activate the cooperation in trade and economic sphere. Also, with the support of the League of Ukrainian machine-builders leading machine-building enterprises of Ukraine visited the Akmola and North Kazakhstan regions. As a result of these visits, were signed Memoranda on cooperation between the enterprises of Kazakhstan and Association «League of Machine Builders and Employers of Ukraine «Ukrmashstroy» and launched a realization of project on construction of agricultural machinery in the Akmola region.
