The Kapchagai Porcelain Factory

The Kapchagai Porcelain Factory was founded in 1975 in Kapshagai, Almaty region. On December 31, 1975, it produced its first porcelain goods, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The factory manufactured 28 million pieces of dishware a year, including coffee sets, tea and dinner services, vases, and more.

In 2007 the factory went bankrupt and was revived later.

Currently, it is the only producer of household porcelain in the domestic market.
