ASTANA. February 3. KAZINFORM Head of the Kazakh Government Serik Akhmetov signed a decree "On division of responsibilities between the Prime Minister, deputies of the Prime Minister and head of the Office of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan."

According to official media, strategic issues of economic, financial, fiscal and customs policy, public finance, international relations and international cooperation, foreign investment and improving the investment climate, and others are under the supervision of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.

Operational management of the economy and regional policy, agriculture, land and water relations, environmental protection, use of natural resources, development of construction and modernization of housing and communal services, transport infrastructure and logistics, emergency, mobilization work issues are to be controlled by the first Deputy Prime Minister - Minister or Regional Development Bakytzhan Sagintayev.

The responsibilities of the Deputy Prime Minister's Yerbol Orynbayev include the development of education, science, health, social modernization, social policy, employment, sports and religion spheres.

Deputy Prime Minister Kairat Kelimbetov controls issues of macroeconomic policy, fiscal policy, state asset management, financial sector, fiscal and customs policy. He is responsible for issues of Kazakhstan's accession to the World Trade Organization and cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC), the Customs Union, the Common Economic Space, and others.

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev oversees the implementation of the State Program on Forced Industrial-Innovative Development of Kazakhstan for 2010-2014, as well as the development of industry, innovation, technical regulations, foreign investment, energy, geology and mineral resources, petrochemicals, information technology, tourism, and export controls.

Head of the Office of the Prime Minister Yerlan Koshanov provides information-analytical, legal, organizational, procedural, documentation, logistics and other support.
