The oldest Kazakh woman turns 114
There are 423 centenarians aged 100 years and above in Kazakhstan, Kazinform News Agency cites the Kazakh Labor and Social Protection Ministry’s press service.
A woman believed to be the country’s oldest living person who turned 114 years old lives in Ulytau region.
Notably, the south of Kazakhstan boasts the most people aged 100 or older with 64 persons living in Turkistan region.
Then comes the city of Almaty with 48 people who attained the age of 100 years and above.
Almaty region rounds out the top three with 38 centenarians.
The supercentenarians aged 114 (Ulytau region), 112 (Pavlodar region) and 110 (Turkistan region) rank among the top three oldest living persons in Kazakhstan.
