ASTANA. January 11. KAZINFORM. /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The value of the referendum to extend the President's mandate lies in the evolutionary transfer of the political heritage of the First President to the future generation of the national elite, director of the post-Soviet socio-political processes Research and Information Centre of the Lomonosov MGU Alexey Vlassov told at the first meeting of the Eurasian experts' network in Astana.

The referendum discussed in Russia and the West is not just a gift, as some opposition editions write, for the 20th anniversary of the presidential government. It is a serious move which may affect the future development of Kazakhstan's sovereignty. Its core is to leave political heritage of the country's First President, Leader of the Nation, to the future generation of the national elite.
